The Queen'S Head Hotel beautifully blends rustic charm with modern decor, featuring exposed beams and warm wood accents. It is accessible for seniors, making it convenient to navigate the lovely common areas without any hassle.

A few more vegan options on the menu would help.

    Charming stay in a barn

We spent a night in a cozy double room with a king-size bed. The place was clean and had cool mountain vibes. Dinner at the bar was amazing. our food was hot and delish! Breakfast had lots of options too. Just wished the bathroom was a bit bigger, but everything else was spot on.

    cozy room

    fresh milk
    slow draining shower
    cleaning touch-ups needed

The room was a standard double, and honestly, it felt cozy and well-furnished. The bed was super comfy, making it easy to fall asleep right away. I appreciated the extra touches, like the fresh milk for drinks instead of powdered stuff. Everything felt clean, and the bathroom was nice too, but the shower could've drained a bit better. All in all, a comfy spot after a long day of exploring.

    small plates

    delicious breakfast
    unclean grouting
    slight noise disruption

The food here is top-notch, mate! Those small plates had me raving. Plus, the attentive staff truly knew how to mix charm with a dash of cheekiness. And that breakfast? Just what you need to kick off a day of wandering the hills, keeping us fueled for our adventures! Not to mention, our room was a cozy haven after a long day.

Now, don't get me wrong, I loved the stay, but the grouting in our wet room could've done with a sprucing up! A wee touch here and there would've made it shine even brighter.

    Warm and Welcoming Stay

My partner and I enjoyed a cozy one-night stay in a beautifully decorated room that perfectly balanced historical charm with modern comfort. The on-site restaurant offered an accessible menu with delicious options for both breakfast and dinner. We also appreciated the thoughtful touches like fresh milk for our in-room drinks. the breakfast timing was a bit late for our early morning plans.

The converted barn accommodation offered a cozy touch with quality furnishings, a comfortable king-size bed, and an ample TV. Dining in the bar both evenings was a highlight. the food was consistently hot and well-prepared. Breakfast provided a generous selection, from full English to boiled eggs, meeting various tastes. the distance to the main hotel entrance could be inconvenient for some guests, and it would have been nice to have more local specialties included on the menu.
